Commercial Custom Checking
For businesses with high transaction volumes, and/or businesses that may need to uti lize FirstAtlantic Bank’s Cash Management services. The monthly statement is analyzed each month to offset maintenance fees with earnings credit.

 

  • Unlimited check writing
  • No per-deposit charge and no charge for electronic items
  • Per item charge for checks and debit items
  • Earnings credit is calculated based on your collected balances, less the Federal Reserve required margin, to offset the fees incurred
  • Low monthly maintenance fee of $10

 


Business Interest Checking
For sole proprietorships and non-profit groups who keep larger balances with lower volume activity and would like to earn interest on their checking account.

 

  • Low monthly maintenance fee is offset by maintaining a $1,000 minimum daily or $2,500 monthly average balance
  • No charge for the first 150 items per month
  • Per item charge in excess of 150
  • This account earns interest based on balance tiers (rates increase as balance increases)
FDIC Insurance
Deposits at FirstAtlantic Bank are insured up to at least $250,000 per depositor, per insured bank, through December 31, 2013. On January 1, 2014, the standard insurance amount is scheduled to return to $100,000 per depositor, per insured bank, for all account categories except Certain Retirement Accounts (including IRAs) which will remain at $250,000 per depositor, per insured bank.

In addition, FirstAtlantic Bank is participat ing in the FDIC’s Transaction Account Guarantee Program through December 31, 2010. This program provides depositors with unlimited coverage for all personal and business checking deposit accounts that do not earn interest, low-interest NOW accounts (NOW accounts that cannot earn more than .25% interest) and IOTA accounts.
